Thank you for your interest in Connections Achievement and Therapy Center.  On this site, you will find out more information about our team of professionals and how we may offer hope and recovery for your family.

At this time, parents, teachers and clinicians alike recognize the dramatic increases and detrimental effects of AD/HD, dyslexia, PDD, autism, Asperger’s, processing disorders, and learning disabilities on our children.  Although medications are useful for suppressing some of the symptoms in the short-term, rarely is long-term permanent change effected.  In fact, recent research indicates that medicating ADD is no better than doing nothing in long-term assessments of academic performance.

We believe this escalating problem needs a better, more comprehensive solution – one that alleviates symptoms, but in such a way that their underlying cause is addressed.  After reading our information and attending our private, free consultation, we think you will agree that a functional, brain-based, individualized program of care is a sensible way to improve the function of a child’s nervous system, which is where these problems begin.

One goal of Connections Achievement and Therapy Center is to offer comprehensive services which you would normally have to piecemeal together from several different sources.  We currently offer sensory and motor activities, RDI (Relationship Development Intervention), academic testing (WIAT), and nutritional services (including testing, customized supplementation, and counseling).  We know that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts - when different approaches are applied silmultaneously, the effect of each is magnified.
